Hi Alicia,
Thanks for the welcome. Thanks for having somewhere for us to not feel alone in the world of design. I am targeting in California the Senior facillities, namely assisted living and residential care. I love creating healing harmonious designs for people who have been through life transitions.

thanks again for creating this site.
Greetings Alicia:
I am originally from Alexandria, Louisiana and my design firm is headquarted in Las Vegas, NV. I love the world of design and look forward to networking with BIDS!!!!!
Hi Alicia,
Thanks for the warm welcome! I'm excited about this website...I new in my business and am looking for all opportunities to connect and network~
Anyway, about the LEED exam. Good for you for signing up. I remember when I was working that I pushed back the test so many times because of deadlines.
Just to say it, I have to completely submerge myself in any testing-type material to do well. The test itself is very extensive. For me, it really helped me to read the manual twice (yes, twice) and I bought flashcards and made sure I knew them pretty well. I would also test my knowledge of the standards (ANSI, ASTM, etc) by writing them down. I would suggest understanding the overall intent, know the standards and certainly take any practice test you can get your hands on (I think the practice tests are harder than the actual exam). Good Luck and stay in touch~~
Thank you I'm so late with this reply, but want to let you know that I'm looking forward to the connecting and networking please don't hesitate to reach out for anything you might need
Kindest regards
Gracie
actually didn't go, but I do plan on going to the one in St. Louis this year. I just joined the professional NOMA and INOMA this past month. I'm also re-enstating UIC-NOMAS. Matter of fact we just held a joint meeting March 19th. I am having just a bit of trouble getting a study amount of people to really stick. I have people excited though. I have been doing alot of reading lately. IEducating myself so I can thoroughly educate the masses. I just recently bought Paul R. Williams: Architect A Legacy of Style and walked it around the building today to show the black students. The next INOMA meeting is a joint venture w/ IIDA. on april 23rd at the merchendise Mart. I plan on making UIC-NOMAS something special. But I see that I haven't been the only person busy, you have made a move. You are now down in New Orleans. How is that going for you. I'm sure that you will be at the national conference in St. Louis. What else is new?
Thanks for the warm welcome to the site. I am excited that there is a place for people like me to meet other people like me. It's empowering and uplifting.
