I really hope in future to make many of the shows...if BIDS continues to grow and gain the visibility its now acquiring, we may participate in many events all over the country. As you're able...send your IDS info.
Talk soon!
Can you share more info about IDS and your leadership role with us? Would like to know how the organization does marketing and promotion for its designers. With Marsha on board, we're gearing up for a May/June blast!
When you get a few mintutes, let's talk!

Several things. Local magazine ads, neighborhood mailers, community newspaper articles, giving my cards out every opportunity I can, small group presentations, a handful of clients have googled local designers and liked what they saw on my web page and of course referrals (which have been the biggest payoff). There's no better advertisement than some one else singing your praises. It's all trial and error. Some things work and some don't. The first 2 jobs I did were for very little pay, just to get some decent photos to start my portfolio. I suggest working on that - even if it's your house or a friends.
Your website is great. Your work is as great. I am interested in starting my own firm. What are the things that you have done, to get clients
