Thanks for welcoming me. I'm really exciting about this BIDs website. I'm also looking forward to attending some seminars in Chicago. I have never been to the merchandising mart so that is surely at the top of my list. I viewed your photos and wondered do you do more commercial design or a mix of both residential and Commercial? I always wonder what oppurtunities are available in other cities and states because here in Milwaukee the design community is pretty small, and even smaller for residential design.
I have framed prints for $50 and up. Or maybe you only buy originals?
Just wish there were more networking and mentors here in the D.

I have been attending Harrington part time since 2004. Joined OBD/Osmosis the first year I started at Harrington.
I actually transferred from IADT to Harrington College of Design. IADT had a good academic program, but overall I found that it wasn't for me. Harrington is a great, well respected interior design school, and I feel like I'm going to get a well rounded education there.
I love living in Charlotte! I actually did not like taking classes online. I think I would have learned a lot more in a classroom environment. I also think the cost of the classes did not justify what I got out of them. I am not taking classes right now and will have to do more research to find a program that will be beneficial for me.
I plan to attend either Monday or Wednesday. This is my first time and I do not know what to expect. Will you be attending on either of these days? If so, may I join you or your group?
I just recently joined today and saw your profile. I just want to introduce myself. Interior design has been a passion of mine for quite sometime and I have finally put myself first to pursue my dreams after 20 years of putting my family before me. I'm trying to find a mentor and thought I start with you. We are of the same age. Hope this is okay with you.
